Green Apple Garden
Green Apple Garden is an outdoor immersion infant, toddler, and preschool program. Located in Ann Arbor, our playschools are structured around the Reggio Emilia approach, with an emphasis on authentic play and spending time outside.

Lower School
Located at 2664 Miller Road, our program consists of the Infants and 1 year olds (Pips & Seedlings) and 2 year olds (Sprouts) . The majority of our time is spent outside, and there is a gross motor / art studio for the very cold days during the winter months. Care is the curriculum for our infants, and we baby-wear often. Our classrooms are soothing spaces with natural light and materials.

Lower School Overview:
Child to Teacher Ratio: 4 to 1
Ages: 6 weeks- ~2.5 years
Daily Attendance: 25 children
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Our Lower School program includes:
engaging themes based in nature
small, loving "family groups" with peers
mixed-aged play
organic snack a.m. and p.m.
cloth diaper-friendly and baby-wearing
events for families and community
Upper School
Ages 2.5 to 5 years old
Our Upper School is located just down the road from the Lower School at 511 Miller Avenue. Our preschool program is at this location. We have designated rooms designed to cater to different subjects and materials for the children to choose from. We spend most of our time outside exploring our natural playscapes, beautiful gardens and our community.

Child to Teacher Ratio: 8 to 1
Ages: 2.5-5 years old
Daily Attendance: 30 children
Hours: M-F 8:30am - 5:30pm
